SOLAR REBATE PROGRAM

Victorian households can significantly reduce the upfront cost of installing solar panels thanks to the Solar Homes Program by Solar Victoria. Eligible homeowners can receive a rebate of up to $1,400 on solar panel installation, plus access to an interest-free loan equal to the rebate amount, payable over four years.

In addition to this, the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES) provides federal incentives through Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), which further lower system costs. Combined, these rebates make switching to solar more affordable than ever, helping Victorians cut energy bills and reduce carbon emissions.
