Why Plant Trees?

Planting native trees is a simple, natural way to fight climate change. Each tree absorbs 5–10 kg of CO₂ per year through photosynthesis—up to 0.3 tonnes over 30 years—while also improving air quality, providing wildlife habitat, and cooling urban spaces. Though a single tree’s impact is modest, large-scale planting significantly cuts carbon emissions and enhances community wellbeing.

For every tree planted through Zero Energy, our partner Carbon Neutral will plant an additional tree or shrub on your behalf—doubling the environmental impact of your contribution.
