Power Your Business

Protect Your Cash Flow

Commercial Solar, Battery Storage & Flexible Energy Solutions

Zero Energy Australia helps your business assess solar, battery storage and energy management, with flexible ways to fund the project.

From outright purchase to rental and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs),we help you understand the technical and commercial options before you commit.

No obligation. Recommendations depend on site usage, tariff, roof and electrical suitability, finance approval and program eligibility.

Your Business Needs

More Than a Solar Quote.

The right energy solution starts with understanding when your business uses electricity, how much it pays, whether it exports solar and what its future operating requirements look like.

A large solar system is not necessarily the best investment if its generation does not align with your demand.

Understand energy costs

Review electricity usage, tariff structure and demand charges.

Make better use of your roof

Assess available roof space and solar generation potential.

Explore battery storage

Consider whether storage, load shifting or backup capability has a commercial case.

Keep capital available

Compare upfront ownership, rental and eligible PPA structures.

Plan for the future

Consider HVAC, hot water, EV charging and future expansion.

Choose the Commercial Structure

That Fits Your Business.

Different ways to pay.  Different ownership arrangements.  A clearer commercial decision.

SCHEDULED PAYMENTS

Commercial
Solar Rental

Spread the cost through agreed rental payments rather than paying the full project cost upfront. Depending on the finance agreement, your business may use the installed system while making scheduled payments over a fixed term.

End-of-term ownership, maintenance, insurance and buyout arrangements depend on the contract.

Rental term and repayments; finance approval; total cost over term; early termination; end-of-term options; GST and tax treatment to confirm with your adviser.

CONTRACTED SOLAR ENERGY

Power Purchase
Agreement (PPA)

A third-party system owner typically funds and owns the solar system, while your business agrees to purchase electricity generated by that system at a contracted rate.

A PPA can reduce upfront capital requirements for eligible sites, but savings depend on the contracted rate, actual generation, grid tariffs and the agreement terms.

Agreed energy rate and annual escalations; minimum purchase or take-or-pay obligations (if any); term; site access; roof and landlord permissions; system ownership; performance; maintenance; relocation and termination provisions.

SCHEDULED PAYMENTS

Outright
Purchase

Own the system from the start. You fund the project and receive the benefit of the electricity it generates, subject to the system design, site usage and operating costs.

This may suit businesses with available capital and a long-term property strategy.

Upfront investment; asset ownership; maintenance responsibilities; depreciation and tax treatment to confirm with your adviser.

The options, side by side.

Solar Generates Power

Storage Can Change
When You Use It.

For some commercial sites, batteries may help shift solar energy into later operating hours, reduce grid purchases during expensive tariff periods or manage certain demand peaks.

Battery economics depend on interval consumption, tariff structure, solar export, usable storage capacity, operating strategy and installed cost. Backup is possible only where the system is specifically designed and approved for it.

AN ENERGY STRATEGY BUILT AROUND YOUR SITE

Generation. Storage. Operating hours.

Already have solar?

We can review whether the next opportunity is better energy management, battery storage, solar expansion or simply improving how your existing system operates.

Dandenong

Battery Storage & EV Charging

Commercial energy infrastructure concept incorporating a GoodWe ESA 125 kW / 261 kWh battery energy storage system and four 22 kW EV chargers, designed around an existing large-scale rooftop solar installation. The project scope involves electrical integration, protection, safety and site coordination. Status: confirm before publication. Customer identity and brand use require approval.

Shepparton

Supermarket Solar & Storage

Commercial supermarket energy solution developed around approximately 80 kW of solar, battery storage and refrigeration-aware energy management. The project demonstrates the importance of matching energy infrastructure to trading hours, refrigeration and network requirements. Status and final installed configuration: confirm before publication.

Hoddles Creek

Horticulture Solar

Proposed approximately 200 kW rooftop solar solution for an orchard operation, with financing and incentive assessment forming part of the commercial feasibility work. Proposed project only; do not imply installation or realised savings.

Understand the options, the conditions and the questions worth asking.

Potentially, for eligible businesses and sites under suitable rental or PPA arrangements. Availability and contract terms must be confirmed.

Landlord approval, lease duration, roof rights and responsibility for equipment are important. We can help identify what documentation is needed.

Usually not. Grid charges, consumption outside solar hours, demand charges and other costs may remain.

Neither is universally better. Compare total cost, cash flow, asset ownership, contract terms and tax treatment with your advisers.

Possibly, subject to compatibility, network approvals, tariffs, site load profile and financial viability.

Potentially. Programs, eligibility and values change; we confirm current applicability during assessment rather than promising a rebate on this page.

Timeframes depend on design, network approvals, finance, engineering, landlord permissions, equipment and installation scheduling.
